Return and refund policy
The short version: 30 days, money back. If the tool does not make your oil changes easier, email sales@quartsmith.com within 30 days of delivery and we refund the full purchase price. You can have used it. That is the point.
Return window
You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. Requests made after 30 days cannot be accepted.
Condition
Our guarantee covers the tool after you have actually tried it, so normal use and traces of oil are fine. Please return all parts that came in the box: the pump body, both tubes, the clips and the quick-connect fitting. Returns missing parts may be refunded in part rather than in full.
How to start a return
- Email sales@quartsmith.com with your order number and a sentence on what went wrong. Photos help if the item is faulty or damaged.
- We reply within 1 business day with a return authorization and the return address.
- Ship the item back. Please use a tracked service and keep the tracking number.
Items sent back without a return authorization cannot be processed or refunded.
Who pays return shipping
If the item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or we sent the wrong thing, we cover return shipping and send a prepaid label. If you are returning it because you changed your mind or it did not suit you, return shipping is at your cost. Original shipping is not refunded in that case, though on free-shipping orders there is nothing to deduct.
Refunds
Once the return arrives and is checked, we issue the refund to your original payment method within 2 business days. Your bank or card issuer typically takes a further 5 to 10 business days to post it. We email you when the refund is sent.
Damaged or faulty on arrival
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and the packaging. We will send a replacement or refund you in full, whichever you prefer, and you do not need to ship anything back unless we ask.
Exchanges
The quickest route is a refund on the item you have and a fresh order for the one you want. If you would rather swap sizes directly, email us and we will arrange it.
Order cancellations
If your order has not shipped yet, email us and we will cancel it and refund you in full. Once it has been dispatched, treat it as a return under this policy.
